| Week 1: Interesting start to the season!
After one full week of games, the competition is very tight.
The winners this week included:
SBW's Studs at Dub's Blazers 1-8-0 Feldy's Fighters at Sydney Arsendragons 3-6-0 BROY SMASH #7 at chrishbhs Magpies 6-3-0 Hamilton Boomers Army at Rozza's Rebels 7-2-0 willyhbhs Blitzers at Typhoon Thomas Downterrians 3-6-0
The West side came out on top last week, with 3 wins compared the East Side.
Things of Note:
- SBW team was riddled with injuries (Griffin, Granger, Jamison, Tyrus Thomas) - Arsen had a strong win, on the back of Dwight.(who probably could carry this team all season). - Boomer's team looks the goods', led by LBJ, and a huge week from Blatche, Noah, Rondo, Lou Will. Early favourite to claim the Eastside? - Melo's hot start, has helped TTD overcome a strong Blitzers line-up. - and finally, the return of agent zero has led SMASH to a first up victory.
PS. there could be a real race to the scoring title, with k.mart and melo stacking their claims against household names LBJ and Wade. _________________ |

| Week 2:Seperating the Contenders from the Pretenders Notes: - SBW's horror start continued, dropping to 4-14, but this can be attributed to his team looking more like a hospital, than a basketball team. With Griffin, Jamison, T.Thomas and A.Jefferson all missing time, anyone would struggle. - SMASH literally smashed me last week, and kept up his good form, to have the best record not only in the 'westside' but the whole league. But, i did have Harris out (and still do). - Boomer also looks like an early favourite, racing to a 21-6 record. - willyhbhs, had a massive week, on the back of point 'gods' jennings and paul. - Typhoon also kept up his good form, willing easily, and racing to the top of the 'eastside'. - The long grind is starting to take it's toll on most teams, with key players dropping like flies, so it'll be interesting to see how everyone fairs from here on in. _________________ |

| Week 3:Westside starting to dominate Results: Notes:- SBW's team continues to struggle without Griffin, Thomas and Al Jefferson. - SMASH has raced to an early season lead, and looks the goods for the chamionship atm. - the three teams with the best records (SMASH, myself and Arsen) are all in the Westside. is a trend starting to develop? - Feldy, Arsen and I all had big wins last week, even with several key players missing (Peirce, Duncan (and now Nelson) and Harris respectively). - I think it has to be noted how good Jennings is going, and what a steal Blitzers got with him. _________________ |

| Week 4:
'Tis the season to be Thankful, for injuries???
Results:
Hamilton Boomers Army (22-14) at SBW's Studs (9-27) 8-1-0 BROY SMASH #7 (23-13) at willyhbhs Blitzers (17-19) 5-4-0 Feldy's Fighters (22-13-1) at Typhoon Thomas Downterrians (16-18-2) 6-2-1 Dub's Blazers (23-13) at Rozza's Rebels (11-24-1) 6-3-0 Sydney Arsendragons (22-14) at chrishbhs Magpies (13-23) 5-4-0
Notes: - As the title suggests, this season would have to have the most injuries to superstars, in a long time. Paul, Harris, Gasol, Granger, L.Williams, Nelson, K.Martin, Bogut, Redd, Biedrens, Rip, J.Howard, Bell, T-Mac, Griffin, T.Thomas, K.Love, and not to mention Lewis and Earl (JR) Smith missing time. This has led to alot of teams struggling. - Boomer continued his great form, against SBW, who is still battling with injuries, more than anything. Boomer's big win has shot him into 2nd in the Eastside. - SMASH, Arsen and I all won and continued our tussle at the top of the Westside. But Arsen and I are facing of this week, so will be interesting. - Feldy, kept up his good form, with another solid performance, on the back on some guy called dwayne wade. - Players that have impressed so far: Jennings, J.Smoove, Ellis, Ariza, G-Force, Horford, Noah, M.Gasol, Evans, Frye, Hibbert, Stuckey, Brooks, C.Brewer, Boozer, Gay, D.Jones. - Guys who have sucked: Harris, Brand, Marion, Salmons, A.Randolph, Charlie V, Redd, A.Miller, Bibby.
Until next week, Peace out! _________________ |
