how on earth did Wozniaki move up 1 and Venus down 2 and Nadal fall two spots and Djokavic up 1.

The above players all went out in the same round Wozniaki possibly before Venus I can't remember her having that many points to defend. As for Djokovic when did he lose last year again because him at #2 is a pretty big joke imo. When Nadal, Murray, Del Potro and even Roddick are behind him.

Yeah the points you score on a certain date get erased after 1 year. So Nadal did much worse in AUS open he actually looses points.

not really... he's out for a month, and dominated from now until Roland Garros last year.. meaning unless he can comeback and start winning straight away (which is unlikely) the only way for Rafa is down in the rankings

well the system is flawed then. They should make it last two season instead of 1 that way inconsistant players are rewarded less and consistancy keeps you up top.

By making it over two years, inconsistent players would be rewarded more as their points would last longer, instead of being taken over by the next years result.

Both are very consistent, and that's what it's all about.
