I would say Melbourne.
1. Melbourne Cup
2. Tennis Grand Slam
3. Grand Priz
4. Commonwealth Games
5. Olympic Games
6. AFL is based there
7. Cricket - Boxing Day Test, Victoria have dominated last few yrs
8. Soccer - Melbourne won A-League
9. League - Storm have dominated last 4 yrs
10. NBL, 2 melbourne teams played in the GF.

These ones all dont make sense. I mean - Just because the teams do better doesnt mean it is the better sports capital.
Although, saying that I do think it is Melbourne. |
