| This is on tonight. Check out Skintilla's myspace if you like you metal loud and heavy with clean vocals. Adelaide's premier metal band IMO. |

Great gig. Held at Higher Ground which was the old Night Train venue in Light Square. Caught up with mates over a drink or two. Discussed why metal in the 80's was better than today. Ended up back at Enigma in Hindley Street afterwards. |

| I'll be attending Laneway Festival today. While it's a massive shame Echo & The Bunnymen won't be playing, my timetable is looking great anyway. Will be seeing:
Black Gold Hockey Bridezilla Mumford & Sons The XX Wild Beasts Dirty Three Florence + The Machine
A little bummed I won't see Daniel Johnston, Black Lips and Frightened Rabbit, but all in all it should be a good day of music. _________________ |

| Yeah, I'll be at Future.
Can't pass up the chance to see the likes of Sven Vath, Boys Noize, Dubfire, etc. Hopefully I get to see Super8 & Tab as well, I've wanted to see them live for ages. _________________ |

Yeah good man.
Can't say I've heard of any of them, but yeah should be good. Might sound cheesy, but looking forward to seeing David Guetta. But mainly The Prodigy, they have some classics.
If only The Chemical Brothers were playing, that would have been icing on the cake! |

| I can send you links to tunes or live-sets from them if you like. Gets you familiar with other acts on the bill so you'll have fielder's choice on the day.
Boys Noize is most likely to appeal to you - he plays electro-house with a few tech elements thrown in, a lot of bangers in his sets.
Sven Vath is a crazy techno legend partying it up in his mid-40's.
Dubfire was half of Deep Dish (they were huge a decade or so back). Sharam is producing radio-friendly dance now, but Dubfire churns out dark and delicious techno/tech-house. _________________ |

Yeah, if you've got some links that would be great.
Will get me familiar with who they are and what their songs are.
Going to be a massive day. |

| Heading out to Apocalyptic City at The Forresters and Squatters Arms Hotel after the Port v Adelaide NAB Cup game tonight. A couple of local Adelaide metal bands (Pitchfork, Splattergasm, Deathbringer and Forget All This) playing inside and out in the beer garden classic metal of the 80's and 90's. Stuff like Metallica, Venom, Sacred Reich, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Kreator & Twisted Sister. Kicks off at 9 pm. Couple birthdays being held there to on the night. Should be fun. |
