| Midfield duo Steven Pienaar and Jack Rodwell have not travelled to Minsk. Pienaar was injured after a collision with South African team-mate Aaron Mokoena in the Premier League fixture at Portsmouth last weekend and has stayed back at Finch Farm training ground. Meanwhile, teenager Rodwell is missing due to flu-like symptoms, which have ruled him out of the visit to the Belarus capital to play FC BATE Borisov. Both players have been key members in the recent revival of form that has seen the side record victories in each of the last four games, scoring 12 goals without reply. With Pienaar, Rodwell and also top scorer Louis Saha - suspended following his red card in the 4-0 defeat of AEK Athens - forcefully omitted from the squad, manager David Moyes has included some of the club's younger players in the travelling party. Moyes is also without the ineligible John Heitinga as well as long-term injury absentees Phil Neville, Phil Jagielka, Victor Anichebe and Mikel Arteta (all knee). Who can not play for Everton tommrow morning Saha Anchiebe Arteta Jageklia Neville Heinitga Rodwell Pienaar Neill 9 first team players fucking 9! | Everton travel to Benfica in the morning while the other english side fulham will play roma i think at craven cottage! Everton manager David Moyes has serious defensive concerns ahead of the Benfica game. Joseph Yobo hasn't travelled to Portugal and the ineligibility of John Heitinga and Lucas Neill means Tony Hibbert could be pressed into action at centre-back again, following a similar switch in the last European game against BATE Borisov. Moyes will also be forced to name a third stand-in captain with Yobo joined by Leon Osman in staying behind from the trip. Indeed, the frustration of Osman's absence is further compounded by Steven Pienaar's ongoing knee injury. "We have a few injuries but I feel we have sufficient strength; that is what we do at Everton, we fight hard for eachother," said Moyes before holding a training session in the Estadio De Luz on Wednesday evening. Pressed by journalists on Hibbert's potential return to central defence, he added: "I could do. I have one or two ideas but I will make a decision tomorrow." The Everton manager also mentioned Jack Rodwell as a possible candidate for a centre-back berth alongside Sylvain Distin. But Moyes wouldn't be drawn on the identity of his latest captain, though he admitted he had come to a decision. "I know who it'll be but I'll wait until tomorrow (before revealing)," he said. Also unavailable to Moyes are Mikel Arteta, Victor Anichebe, Phil Neville and Phil Jagielka - so there are a number of younger players in the squad - and likely to make the bench on Thursday evening. Everton from: Howard, Nash, Coleman, Hibbert, Gosling, Distin, Duffy, Baines, Bilyaletdinov, Cahill, Fellaini, Wallace, Rodwell, Akpan, Baxter, Saha, Jo, Yakubu, Agard. I think everton will go -------------------Howard---------------------- Gosling-----Hibbert---------Distin----------Baines -------------------Rodwell---------------------- Baxter-------------Fellaini------------Bilyaletdinov -------------------Cahill----------------------- -------------------Saha------------------------- Subs: Nash Coleman Duffy Wallace Jo Yakubu Agard i think benfica will win 2-0 _________________ Look into my eyes and it's easy to see One and one make two, two and one make three, It was destiny. |

| Everton (from): Howard, Nash, Hibbert, Distin, Yobo, Baines, Cahill, Bilyaletdinov, Fellaini, Rodwell, Gosling, Coleman, Jo, Yakubu, Saha, Baxter, Wallace, Akpan, Agard, Duffy. --------------------------Howard---------------------------- Hibbert--------Distin---------------Yobo------------Baines -------------------------Rodwell---------------------------- Gosling------------------Cahill----------------Bilyaletdinov ---------------------------Felliaini-------------------------- ----------------------------Yakubu------------------------ Subs: Nash Duffy Coleman Wallace Baxter Saha Jo
Keepers: Quim, Moreira & Júlio César; Defenders: Maxi Pereira, Sidnei, David Luiz, Luisão & Shaffer; Midfielders: Javi Garcia, Ramires, Ruben Amorim, Fábio Coentrão, Di María, Felipe Menezes & Pablo Aimar; Attackers: Nuno Gomes, Weldon, Saviola, Cardozo & Keirrison. Some great players in the squad
My Tip Moyes has called for a special atmosphere and im hoping the fans respond, the atmosphere on saturday was brilliant and hopefully we can push on, I never thought i would be happy to see Hibbert in the Line up but there you go! Will be a special night if everton can get up and win.
At goodison I think we can get the right result but we will have to play well, Benfica do have some great players though (Saviloa Cardozo Kerrison Di Maria etc) But with a decent squad tommorow hopefully playing i hope we can get a win and i think we might im gonna tip 2-1 to the Mighty Toffees with Cahill and Saviola to score and Billy to score late in front of the gwaldys CMON YOU BLUES _________________ Look into my eyes and it's easy to see One and one make two, two and one make three, It was destiny.
