Of course Chelsea fans will be supporting JT in this situation. He's our captain, leader and the fans love him.

So say one of your players (e.g. Stevie G) was involved in a similar scandal, you wouldn't support him?

Anyway I'm just glad the two (JT & Bridge) have finally gotten this match out of the way. Hopefully the whole saga will die down in the next few weeks (I doubt it).

JT is a class player and I'm sure his Football will do the talking. Very Happy

Beat me haha, edited my post to answer him just as you posted this.

It will die down in the next few weeks but for the next week people will keep talking about it.

Hence to the 'obviously' word in my post. Of course they are going to support him i know that, but the thing that ticked me off throughout the match was the fact that the Chelsea fans were booing him. I realize he is a former Chelsea player, but booing him with what he has gone through isn't the right thing to do imo.

That has nothing to do with the whole JT/Bridge scandal.

Chelsea have no history prior to 2003ish.

Oh, do they always have that banner then?

If you're having a whinge about fans booing a player, you'd probably have a heart attack if you heard some of the football chants around England. I mean, they booed someone, big deal.

Not happy with the result, if ever there was a game for City to drop points you'd think it would be Chelsea at the Bridge.

Our game isn't on Foxtel tonight, will have to whip up a stream.

Hoping to see -

Reina
Kelly - Carragher - Agger - Insua
Mascherano - Aquilani
Benayoun - Gerrard - Babel
Kuyt

Just finished watching Tottenham vs Everton. It was an alright game with Tottenham being the best side throughout the game and eventual 2-1 winners. The first goal by Pavlychenko was pretty lucky with Defoe crossing it to him even though he actually was going for goal. Everton equalized through i think it was Yakubu, the goal was poor keeping from Gomes as he was totally out of position from the cross and it was a scramble in the box but eventually Yakubu kicked it in for the easiest of goals. The third goal was all class from Modric with a stunning top corner strike. Kranjcar was magnificent and was a danger all game, while Pavlychenko looked good in his return to the starting squad. For the toffees, Arteta and Pienaar were probably the best for them, but there were no real stand outs for the toffees. Victor Anichebe made his first start for over a year and had an average game. One thing that i noticed was that he is an extremely selfish player, he had numerous shots on goal that led to nothing and he failed to find his team mates when they were open. It is no wonder he hasn't been able to get a game for a long time now.

Useless Everton!

HT in both other games and its Liverpool leading 2-1 over Blackburn and 0-0 between Fulham and Sunderland.

Torres is pretty god-like.

Also Everton are a useless club.

Surely if you watched the game you would know that Spurs went 2-0 up so there is no way that "Everton equalized". And Modric's goal didn't go in the top corner either.

Far out Blackburn are a dirty team, happy with the three points though.

I was flicking in between channels so i didn't catch all the game. Not sure how i thought Everton equalized, just a brain fade there i guess. Also about Modric's goal it hit the crossbar and then went in, i didn't see the replay until just then but i just went by what the commentator said.

Must say I only saw the 2nd Half but I thought it was an enjoyable game. Donovan's miss was a shocker, but over the balance of play, Spurs were deserved winners. Kranjcar was brilliant for Tottenham.

That was an absolute shocker of a miss by Donovan, if he scored that then the result may have been different at the end of the game.

These players are professionals right?
So explain how so many times we see people blast wide or high from right infront.

Professionals aren't perfect. Some can't handle the pressure when its on as well.

mmm. true.

It's pretty shocking when these guys get paid so much and some mess up from seemingly impossible positions.
