Bloody hell, thats dispicable for Melbourne Shocked

It's Tuesday night, it's cold and I think the general MVFC fan cares more about the A-League.

Oh my god...why did I go tonight?! Thank Christ I was standing in the Northern Terrace otherwise I would have gotten so bored. And well, we are in big trouble for the ACL this year, we can not drop any more points!!

As for the crowd, well that crowd was a shocker and should have gotten better, but I don't blame the lack of numbers as Etihad is getting appauling to watch any sport, let alone football

Finishes 2-0 to Seongnam.

Seongnam were brillaint in defence, they didn't put a foot wrong all night. Ognenovski was like a rock in defence, probably the best player on the field. Although it's not over yet, the odds are against Melbourne to qualify. Especially that they have to play 3 days after the grand final. They'll probably drop points there as well.

Very happy to see Ognenovski score a goal.
I thought It'd hurt to see him playing for another team, but how can I be upset when he scores against Melbourne.

First Griffiths scoring and now Sasa. Even wore the captains armband tonight. Smile

Apparently Van Dijk was in doubt for tonights game because of a quad injury. They just announced on the news though that he's starting, so good news for us. We're going in with the same 11 as last week, it's good to see as well. It's been a while since we've had a settled team.

I'm hoping for a win obviously, but it's pretty unlikely to happen. I think we'll struggle to adapt to there conditions.

1-0 to us at half time.

It's been a pretty shit game, Shandong have dominated possession, we've sat back and defended well but it'd be nice to see us take some risks and create a few more chances. Were winning though, which is all that matters at this stage.

C'MON UNITED!

0-1 in united's favour at the half. I had the confidence that we could get a result, and so far it is looking good taking a surprise 1-0 lead. If we can win this game and keep them to a clean sheet it would be a great achievement. UNITED!

What a fucking win! Against all the odds we have come away against Shandong on their home pitch with a remarkable 2-0 win. Serge and the master Leckie were the goal scorers. Shandong dominated possession for the entire match, but they couldn't get a score on the board. After a poor A-League season, the boys have stunned everyone by winning the first 2 games. UNITED!

6 out of 6 points. You fucking beauty!

Another good performance by the boys. We looked real dangourous every time we had a counter attack. Cornthwaite had his best game in a long time. For once he didn't make his usual mistakes. The timing of his challanges were perfect. Van Dijk had another good game, he could easily have had a second goal. Pantelis played well, his cross to Van Dijk was very good. There really wasn't any bad players for us tonight, everyone played there role and done it well.

Next up is Sanfrecce Hiroshima at home. Looking forward to it.

How good was it to see Victory lose and watch them complain about scheduling

Do they not understand that we have entered their competition and they can schedulr it whenevr they like

Victory 0-2 at the ACL, United 2-0 at the ACL Grin couldn't have been a better start.

I can't believe I missed out on this game. Forgot that it started earlier, came in when the match was already finished. Stoked about the result though, definitely didn't expect it.
