Yeh Zhirkov dominates in Fifa09

No matter what club I start with he always seems to be "rumoured" to be coming to my club

so i got sacked from stevenage boro mid feb in 1st season lol...we were on a run of 11 or 12 games without a win and the nail in the coffin was a 2-1 loss to...well i forgot who we were playing but we conceded the winner with 93mins and 40 seconds on the clock 4 minutes stoppage time...heartbreaking stuff

ive been signed by the mighty farsley celtic in blue square north...when i arrived they were 15th and weve had 4 games with 3 wins and a draw, so going well Very Happy...gona push for play offs but id be surprised if we get there then over the summer gona boost the squad (only 18 1st team players) and take it from there Smile

farsleys season fizzled out in the end lol and after having a shot at the playoffs they crumbled and finished 15th
i resigned from there coz the team was going nowhere and applied to racing santander in la liga but that was rejected...so im jobless and just waiting atm Razz

Currently sitting in 6th place with City in February, just 2 points behind 4th place though.

Barca made a bid for Robinho that was too good to refuse, he wasn't really firing as much as I'd hope so I let him go. Unfortunately didn't have time to buy a replacement, other than Benni McCarthey who is just to add depth to my attack.

Also in to the quarters of the FA Cup and in the knockout stage of UEFA Cup

Currently first with City in December. Highlight being a 4-0 derby win Smile

ive also started a new game with arsenal...i bought arshavin for 12m and sold adebayor for 12m. kolo toure also went for 12m and a bit (tbh i was looking to get rid of gallas but toure was looking to go so in the interest of the team and $$$ i let him go haha)...and it looks like ive secured yaya toure for 18m
trying to buy micah richards to cover for kolo (although i spose yaya can do that) and ben arfa or benzema to cover for adebayor but they are all being turned down...ive been offering so much more than they are valued + % of next sale bonuses etc...how the bloody hell do i get em?!! i also tried for tevez but that was rejected too Sad

for arsenal i was looking to go something like

---------almunia----------
clichy---gallas---yaya---bak sagna
nasri---------fabregas------theo
--------arshavin-------------
--------------rvp----------------

using a 4-3-3 formation mostly but i switched to a 3-1-2-1-3 formation for my last game and it got a 1-0 win so im happy Razz
knocked outa the league cup and johnstones paint trophy in the 2nd rounds wih a 5-1 loss to ipswich in the LC and a 1-1 AET 3-0 on pens loss to leyton orient in the JPT
shattered after the pens lol

I'm the daddy at this game Smile

In FM 08, these are my accomplishments:

I've got FM 09, only played 1 and half seasons, won everything with Newcastle in my first season, bought the Brazilian Ronaldo, might be old, but I revived his career, he smashed in almost 40 goals in the first season. My tactics are too good Smile

ive just started gettign back into fm and loving it once again Smile

i started a game with city but the money just got boring tbh...plus robinhos attitude pissed me off, he was such a crybaby Laughing
i then went back to my other game which was in the middle of 2010wc managing ghana. we missed out on the 2nd round by 1 point Mad
have been signed by swindon who were in 22nd in league 1 after 13 games and weve had 2 draws, 1-1 and 4-4 with port vale and leyton orient (orient were top of the league) and we shoulda won the orient game 4-2 but some idiot in defence had a shocker grrr

i bought the game last xmas but didnt load it until the EPL off season...i think most of its been covered but i mucked about a bit as Fulhams manager then resigned after a run of 10 defeats. Sat out the season then started a new game as Brums manager. Won the Championship ( they actually had a great squad given theyd been relegated) , and managed to win Premier league at first attempt. The gun for me was Sander Post ( think someone here or on the Sportal Forum put me onto him...scored 28 in his first year and 32 in the 2nd

Now just waiting for New version .....cant wait
