A-League
Brisbane Roar part ways with midfielder Danny Tiatto

By staff writers
January 28, 2010

Danny Tiatto's tempestuous relationship with Brisbane Roar has come to an end with the former Socceroos player told his services are no longer required with A-League club.
Tiatto has been on the outer since he started firing insults at Roar coach Ange Postecoglou after he took over from former mentor Frank Farina in late 2009.

The outbursts saw Tiatto fined and he has struggled to feature in the club's plans since.

However a fatal blow to Tiatto's career appears to have come with the Roar declaring he has run out of chances and telling the midfielder not to bother turning up to training.

The Roar will inevitably prove to be the last stop in the career of 37-year-old Tiatto who returned to Australia in 2007 after a decade spent playing in England.

Well once again Ange has shown the door to another player, not surprised tbh as he has been on the outer for weeks. At 37 years old you would think his career would have come to a close. I just wished that he could have had a farewell game, but Ange made the decision to let him go instantly. Good luck to ya Danny.

Since Ange has arrived at the scene he has booted some on the most important players to Brisbane!
Miller, Reddy, Moore, and now Tiatto. FFS who is going to be their leader now?!

Well Done Ange, you second rate prick

Source?

He was retiring at the end of the season anyway. If he didnt like being dumped coz of poor form then he can F*** off. I dont want someone at my club not even trying.

This is why Farina had to stay. Four high quality players have left in the past two months (Reddy probably isn't high quality), and it is quite amazing how Ange could have let these guys go.

i Find it pathetic that they give the armband to Matt Mckay when he clearly cant handle losing he just goes hacking. Massimo Murdocca should be wearing the arm band

I would NOT call Tiatto a high quality player, yea i dont watch the A-league much but he is far from being starter every week and isn't close to being an out and out star.

+1 Fuzz, he's a hack of the highest order up there with Muscat in terms of scum. And not a big loss for the Roar

Tiatto has just been as dirty as Muscat has over his career. Both have done some dirty dirty acts on the field.
