To be honest, I think this season will be one of the closest seasons we've seen in a long time, any State can beat each other on any given day. |
Yeah that is true. I reckon it's between QLD, Vic and Tasmania tho. Keep in mind, NSW wont have Lee, Katich (well for a bit), Clark, Hughes (perhaps), Hauritz and perhaps a few more because of international duties_________________ Victoria- 2009/10 Sheffield Shield Champions - 2009/10 Twenty20 Big Bash Champions - 2009/10 Ford Ranger Cup Finalists - 2009 Twenty20 Champions League semi-finalists |

| New South Wales name Haddin and Jaques| Quote: | | New South Wales will welcome back two key men, Brad Haddin and Phil Jaques, when the Blues take on Western Australia in an FR Cup match on Sunday. Haddin has been out of action since the end of the Ashes series, during which he picked up a finger injury that required surgery when he returned home to Australia. |
Full Article Great Ins for NSW. They should go in favourites against W.A. Good to see Hadds back _________________ Victoria- 2009/10 Sheffield Shield Champions - 2009/10 Twenty20 Big Bash Champions - 2009/10 Ford Ranger Cup Finalists - 2009 Twenty20 Champions League semi-finalists |

15 November, 2009
Victoria is developing a sense of invincibility as it continues to record victories without many of its front-line players, according to pace bowler John Hastings. The Bushrangers maintained their undefeated start to the Ford Ranger Cup campaign with a third-straight win against Western Australia at the MCG on Saturday.
The fact the Vics recorded the emphatic 91-run bonus-point win with the likes of Cameron White, Andrew McDonald, Shane Harwood, Dirk Nannes, Jon Holland, Clint McKay and Damien Wright all unavailable is providing a huge source of confidence for the group. |

| Western Australia taking on New South Wales at the WACA.
Western Australia scored 3/309 from their 50 overs. Shaun Marsh top scored with 116 and his brother Mitch made 60 off just 29 balls.
It should be a really interesting run chase with the likes of Hughes, Warner, Smith and Henriques in the Blues side. _________________ |

| Did anyone hear about Peter George taking 8 wickets against Tasmania? (in one innings) he ended up with figures of 8/84. Tasmania scored 389 in their 1st innings with Ed Cowan leading the way scoring 225. South Australia are now 4/220 at the end of day 2. It should be interesting to see how the match results, it is even in balance at the moment and I think the match will end in a draw. _________________ This has been another quality post from TFW's flyest member

Pathetic is the appropriate word Carlton bordering on dismal to be bowled out in 38 overs is morbid. Anyway I doubt Clark will be captaining again any time soon I say give it to Moises he captained the U/19's/21's really well. _________________ Nannies ftw

This should be in the Sheffield Shield thread... but anyway, top effort by George. He got 3/47 off 19 overs in the 2nd innings as well!!! 11/131!_________________ Victoria- 2009/10 Sheffield Shield Champions - 2009/10 Twenty20 Big Bash Champions - 2009/10 Ford Ranger Cup Finalists - 2009 Twenty20 Champions League semi-finalists |
