Would there be enough sustained interest on here to do an NBA tipping competition for the 2009/10 season?

There will be approx. 15 games a week to tip on, and each correct tip is worth one point. The games to tip will be up every Friday, and tips must be in an hour before the NBA's Sunday night games (so our Monday morning)

I would, BUT it's a bit of an effort doing it daily...maybe (unless it's way too many) we could just put the week's tips in one post? Or just select 10-20 games each week to do?

yea i agree with Sibs, maybe each week choose a certain amount of games to pick on throughout the week

Do you guys want me to do random games (random.org) or choose the big games of the week (ie. the one's being televised, top of the table clashes)

I reckon get a variety, I'd rather tip the big games of the week than doing it randomly but also chuck in a few of the lesser-known teams so it actually takes a bit more skill, rather than just picking the well known teams.

The first week will be shorter than the others, as the season starts on a Tuesday and I'd be adding up scores and running the formula on a Sunday probably because it's a convenient day to do it for me, so is that sort of mix what people want?
