Judd confirms rumours...with a difference

CARLTON Captain Chris Judd has confirmed rumours but with NONE of the clubs mentioned in the previous article. Chris Judd has revealed Brisbane as his preferred destination. "I am disappointed by the decision Chris has made, but if this is his choice, we can make it happen." TealDevils19 in a press conference today after the news was confirmed. "We would give up Chris and something for Gary Ablett preferably, and hopefully we can work a deal out with Neil for Chris' services. If we cannot get a trade, we will attempt to look else where, and in the possible event, keep Chris at Carlton against his wishes."

That's not what I heard. I heard he admitted he left his old club because of the culture, but added he missed the Eagles and that as they have turned around and he'd love to return there. Thumbleft

Essendon enter Judd frame

After a rigorous review of the playing group, coach Stoke decided to invest in a young, but gun player. He says Judd fits the bill. He'd be the same age as a group that will challenge, that will peak at the same time. They want somebody to captain them, and they want somebody to mentor all our young midfielders, which Chris would do.

Clark walks out on Lions

In an amazing 24 hours at the Lions, star youngster Mitch Clark has asked to be traded from the lions. In a statement by Clark who was said to be annoyed by the lack of opportunity he may get in the coming years. He said he knew his days were numbered when Jesse White was recruited to play key forward and with Aaron Sandilands in the ruck.

Coach Neil21 commented by saying "its extremely dissapointing to be put in this situation by Mitch, we are still confident of securing him away though."

It is believed that Clarks preferred destinations are either West Coast, Richmond, Essendon or Adelaide.

Blues want in on Clark race

Carlton Coach TealDevils19 has made a comment just minutes after the news of Mitch Clark's wishes to leave the Brisbane Lions. "Any club would love to have Mitch at their club, and we happen to be one of those clubs. We are happy to possibly put Pick 11 on the table in return for Mitch Clark." Mitch Clark's preferred options were West Coast, Richmond, Essendon or Adelaide.

Essendon Put Pick 6 on the table for Clark
With high picks, they need to be used, and Stoke has put it on the table. He has also said He'd be obligated to include someone like Henry Slattery/Pat McGinnity/Tom McNamara/John Meesen coming from a up & coming midfield & being a youth playing & scoring with potential to get a deal done. We would be happy to better any offer for Clark.

EVERYONE UP FOR TRADE AT THE SAINTS (WELL NEARLY)
The staff at St Kilda have declared that everyone at St Kilda is up for trade if the deal is in the best interests of the club and helping the club in the future. "we have an ageing list yet is still has a lot of potential, but we need to realise that we can not expect to make the finals in the near future unless we get younger". St Kilda is particularly looking for first round picks and are willing to trade 2 players for one pick.

Melbourne are offering such names as David Mundy, Angus Monfries, Neville Jetta (who averaged 69 in his first year, a feat not matched by many), Brent Reilly, Nathan Lovett-Murray, Clint Bartram and many many more...

Cynic laments North's media anonymity - for once

Cynic will be glad once trade week is over and done with so that he finally knows how to complete his roster. The delistings of Harris, Riggio and Power are all but official so what it comes down to are the fringe players (including Edwards and Josh Smith) and the rookies (Meredith may not survive).

"I'll be in classes during the trade week," Cynic grumbles. "I hate my bad timing."

Clark gets wish granted

Late last night, Brisbane lions officials came to an agreement with Essendon for Mitch Clark to now be a bomber. The trade involved selection 6 and small defender Henry Slattery.
Lions coach said this morning at a press conference that it was obviously dissapointing to lose Mitch but we werent going to sit around and sulk about it, we had to get on the front foot and try to get the best deal to help our club move forward. We got the call from Stoke and it all moved pretty quickly and smoothly. Pick 6 is a good position to be in with 3 picks inside the 1st round we can have a real shot at this draft and getting some good young talent.

When asked about his list Neil21 said that is was improving. At the end of 2009 we sat down as a group and worked out what we needed for the direction we are taking. We wrote down 10 names that we wanted to get to the club, with the hope to secure 2 or 3. We currently have 3 of players at the club which is pleasing for everybody involved.

Essendon Name the First 3 Men in Their 5 Man Leadership Group
Essendon today named 3 men who will be in their leadership group next season. The group will consist of 5 men, 2 will be named closer to the new season, but, it is thought that these 2 spots are reserved for new acquisitions. Closer to the season the Captain, Vice Captain & Deputy Vice Captain will be named, and the 2 other men in the group told. But, the first three men are:
Mitch Clark - 46 Career Games, 21 YO, Average of 94
Jack Grimes - 12 Career Games, 20 YO, Average of 95
Mitch Morton - 50 Career Games, 22 YO, Average of 83.

Well done lads
