| Nice work. Be sure to shine I'm trying to convince people that I am fine to train tonight, but Doctor + Parents will not let me train. I still want to go down there though, if I am training or not. _________________ ---If Your Not Making Mistakes Your Not Trying Hard Enough-- ~Floreat Pica~ |

| Training was good tonight. I felt that my skills were going very well. Only 4 U15s to training though _________________ Victoria- 2009/10 Sheffield Shield Champions - 2009/10 Twenty20 Big Bash Champions - 2009/10 Ford Ranger Cup Finalists - 2009 Twenty20 Champions League semi-finalists |

| Tomorrow we have our praccy matches. It is like alittle carnival, I think we play Ferney Grove and Everton, two great sides <> Dunno if I will be playing, Coach hasn't got back to me yet about what itme our games are etc and if I am playing. I will probably have to go through a fitness test 1 hour and then 20 minutes before the match. _________________ ---If Your Not Making Mistakes Your Not Trying Hard Enough-- ~Floreat Pica~ |

| Had praccys today. One against Everton and one against Yeronga. Put them together and it would be a full match! With only a 10 minute half time break. Because I have been sick since last Sunday I wasn't fully fit probably around 50%. I performed well though. Played CHF most of the day, didn't snag any myself. But took 13 marks and set up around 5 or more goals. Put quite a few on the FF's chest, so I am happy. _________________ ---If Your Not Making Mistakes Your Not Trying Hard Enough-- ~Floreat Pica~ |

| Had a solid training tonight. Just before we were going to get into a scratch match one of the coaches asked me to go and have a train with some of th3 U16s and 17s that were over the other side of the ground. There were only like 8 people there. Every year the U16s get about 4 aborigines from NT. I played on a few of em tonight and they are incredible!!!! Their pace and ball control and skills are incredible. I had no chance keeping with them haha. I can't wait till we get some NT boys next year _________________ Victoria- 2009/10 Sheffield Shield Champions - 2009/10 Twenty20 Big Bash Champions - 2009/10 Ford Ranger Cup Finalists - 2009 Twenty20 Champions League semi-finalists |

| Might sound a bit strange but I'm playing AFL this year! a few of my mates play for a club that was short on a few players and have been bugging me for the best of two weeks and they reckon I'd make a pretty good AFL player as I do have a bit of speed and don't have a bad kick. I wasn't going to play because I have rugby league on Saturday's but they play AFL on a friday night so I decided I'd give it a go. anyway we had a training session today and the coach asked me a few questions on my strengths/weaknesses in rugby league and he reckons I'd be up to play FF as I can catch a ball pretty well and have a decent kick on me.. and after having a few one on one contests, he reckons I'll go well there. Me and a few boys from the team stayed around and watched some of the U17 practice matches, and a few of the boys gave me some pointers and I reckon i've got a good idea. _________________ This has been another quality post from TFW's flyest member

| Played our first praccy match yesterday
We lost by 30 points, result really didnt matter We have a new game plan this year, that is going to take some time to get used to There was some positive signs, but also a few negatives
My game was poor I thought, I just couldnt get into it I had about 10 touches off half back (not including kickouts), my kicking which is usually very good was a bit off. I kicked one ball out on the full, it landed about 20 meters outside boundary line. I did hit a few good targets but there is defs room for improvemnt |

| watched the teams first praccy the other day, skills were average, but the tackling, attack on the ball and fitness was excellent. all that preseason work showed, now they just need to polish the skills a bit. it hurts watching though, i just want to get back out there _________________ Brandon Roy, Chris Paul, LaMarcus Aldridge, Greg Oden Wesley Matthews, Luke Babbitt, Marcus Camby, Elliot Williams Championship

| We beat Redlands by about 20 points in a grading match last week. They had 22 players we had 14, so great work by us. I was happy with my match. Probably about 15 touches. Had a full quarter at Fullback and in that quarter they only kicked 3 points, so I was happy about that. On Sunday at 9am (Be there at 8) we are playing Beenleigh @ Beenleigh. Gonna have to get a good nights sleep on Saturday. We should win but I don't want to get cocky.
